The final update

So just one last update from me before I get to catch up with you all in St Andrews over the coming days. A couple of you have got in touch around timings and meeting up.

Saturday

For those of you who are playing golf at the Kittocks on Saturday morning, the first tee is booked for 9am, we have courtesy of the driving range before hand and the kitchen will be open for 7am. I have sent over the tee sheet to the Club, we will announce pairings, spot prizes and format on Saturday morning.

Saturday evening, we have booked the “Hide” at Mitchell’s, Market Street, St Andrews. The party will kick off at circa 7pm, we have live music, a few canapés, a great selection of drinks and cocktails to keep us in good spirits. Mitchells will close at 11pm but we can slip into Forgan’s next door for those who want to keep the party going. Pretty sure, given that it is St Andrews a TV showing the Masters will be close by. Thanks for those who have got in touch enquiring about Dress code – wear whatever makes you comfortable.

Sunday

For those who fancy a bit of fresh air and sea breeze we are going to meet up on East Sands Beach, I will be having a dip in the Sea to shake off any lingering hangover. I recently caught up with Kate from the Cheesy Toast Shack, I’ll leave it in her capable hands to explain what I am thinking below.

After a sea dip and a warming sandwich from Kate it would be great to congregate at the steps behind the 18th on the Old Course for a walk with the dogs before venturing into The Jigger for a refreshment. My thinking is that we aim for 10am on Sunday morning on East Sands.
