About the Opportunity – Square One Network are looking for a successful Telemarketer to join our growing team, working closely with our field-based sales team. This is a fast-paced, customer focused sales role that requires the successful candidate to work independently to generate appointments with prospective clients for the sales teams. This is a rare opportunity for the successful candidate to join a growing team here at Square One Network, with fantastic career opportunities. A full induction training plan will be put together on our company, our products and to help build and improve on your sales techniques to help you maximise your opportunities with prospective clients.  

Package & Benefits for the successful Telemarketer

  • £18,000 – £23,000 DOE + uncapped OTE (Year 1 – £30k+OTE, Year 2 onwards – £40k+OTE)
  • Monthly uncapped commission on both appointments booked and confirmed sales

Key Responsibilities for the successful Telemarketer

The successful candidate for this position will:

  • Be working within a growing new business development team to help generate appointments for our field-based Business Development Managers
  • Work closely with your Business Development Mangers to qualify key information prior to the meeting to help increase your sign-up rate & commission
  • Work closely with other members of your team during training periods to feedback successes and struggles to grow as a team
  • Have a strong work ethic with the ability to thrive under pressure
  • Be a positive individual with the hunger to achieve challenging targets

About the Role of Technical Support

This is a varied and fast-paced role, acting as the main point of contact for all incoming queries via phone / email. You will be involved in troubleshooting several technologies – including mobile, fixed line, hardware and software. This is an excellent career move for someone with strong technical skills to grow and develop within our growing business. This is mainly an office-based role with the opportunity to visit & assist existing customers as and when needed. The successful candidate will also share out-of-hours cover responsibility with the rest of the team on a rota’d basis.

Responsibilities of the successful Technical Support

  • Managing and supporting customers and with a range of products including mobile, fixed and data services
  • Excellent customer service skills; you will deal with a range of queries from billing to technical queries in an efficient manner
  • Responding to e-mail and telephone queries within an agreed Service Level Agreement
  • Updating our CRM systems and becoming an expert on using our supplier’s portals
  • First line technical support
  • Updating internal systems
  • In-life changes including adding and removing bars and bundles
  • Sending out contracts
  • Raising faults
  • Raising billing queries
  • Placing orders for hardware


Your Profile

The Successful Technical Support candidate will have:

  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service & building relationships
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of IT and/or Telecoms
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills; be an effective communicator across all levels of the organisation
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Prioritisation and time management skills, as well as a great eye for detail. You must also be able to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience in using Office tools (e.g. Excel)
