Forget the Walker Cup – some of the most exciting golf of the weekend was taking place a little closer to home at the 3rd Annual Square One Network Junior Masters at Brickhampton Court Golf Complex.
Now firmly established as an annual fixture, the event once again brought together some hugely talented young golfers for a day of competition, camaraderie and some genuinely impressive golf.
The standard just keeps getting better
Having supported the event for the past three years, one thing has become very clear – the standard of junior golf just keeps rising.
There were pressure putts, momentum swings and even some last-hole drama as the young players competed around the course. More importantly, there was some outstanding golf on display, with shots being played that many of us would be very happy to produce after a lifetime in the game.
It was also great to see the sportsmanship and enthusiasm that have become such an important part of the event.
A new attraction on the course
There was another star attraction this year – although this one wasn’t carrying a set of clubs.
Prior to its adventures on the Gamma Ball Rally 2026, the now-famous Square One Citroën 2CV made a very welcome appearance at Brickhampton.
The car proved almost as popular as the golf, with players keen to pose alongside it for photographs and, even better, take the opportunity to be driven around the course in it.
Ahead of travelling across Europe for charity, we suspect a trip around Brickhampton will be one of the more relaxing journeys the 2CV will enjoy!
Supporting junior golf
Square One Network is incredibly proud to continue supporting junior golf at Brickhampton Court and to help provide an opportunity for talented young players to compete, develop their game and create some great memories along the way.
Our involvement began with the first Square One Network Cup in 2024 and the event has grown into something we genuinely look forward to each year. In 2025 we saw another noticeable step up in the quality of the golf, and this year’s competition demonstrated once again just how much talent there is coming through.
As a Bristol-based business, supporting the communities around us is important to Square One. Whether that’s through grassroots sport, fundraising or other local initiatives, we believe businesses can make a positive contribution beyond the services they provide.
Thank you
A huge thank you to Brickhampton Court Golf Complex, everyone involved with Brickhampton Juniors, the coaches, volunteers, parents and guardians who help make the day possible.
Most importantly, congratulations to all the young golfers who took part. The quality of the golf was fantastic, but so too was the spirit in which the competition was played.
Another brilliant Square One Junior Masters – and plenty of evidence that the future of the game is looking very bright indeed.
We look forward to doing it all again next year. ⛳🏆
