What a day. The junior golfers braved a bit of everything the British skies could throw at them – sunshine, showers, and a playful breeze – and still delivered a brilliant display of skill, spirit, and sportsmanship. If last year set the bar high, this year cleared it: tighter tee shots, calmer course management, and some seriously confident putting right across the field.
A step up from last year
From the first tee to the last putt, the standard of play was noticeably higher. Many of the juniors returned with renewed focus and it showed -smart decisions, improved consistency, and a real sense of course awareness. Whether they were new to competition or defending bragging rights, everyone brought their A-game.
Celebrating our golfers
At the close of play, we gathered to celebrate the performances, the perseverance, and the friendships that make junior golf special. Awards were presented by Nathan Loveridge, Managing Director of Town and Country Heating and Plumbing. Nathan also runs Brickhampton Juniors at Brickhampton Court, supporting the development of young golf talent and helping shape the future of the sport.

Why we do it
At Square One, we’re passionate about backing local talent and giving young people the platform to grow. Days like this remind us that community investment isn’t just good to do -it’s inspiring to witness.
