Hartpury Cycle Challenge completed – see how the day panned out.
What began as an ambitious charity cycle challenge has become something truly special.
We’re incredibly proud to announce that the Hartpury Charity Cycle Challenge has raised more than £16,000 for Goals Beyond Grass, helping the charity continue its life-changing work supporting people with learning disabilities through football, sport and inclusive community programmes.
For everyone involved, the event was about far more than the miles covered. It was about bringing people together, pushing personal limits and making a genuine difference.
A Challenge Worth Every Mile
Over three days, riders covered approximately 170 miles, finishing at Hartpury University and Hartpury College after an inspiring journey filled with determination, teamwork and plenty of encouragement along the way.
Square One Network was proud to support the challenge as a sponsor, with Managing Director Dave Allen and Paul Watson taking on the final leg from Abergavenny to Hartpury alongside fellow cyclists raising funds for an outstanding cause.
There were aching legs, a few hills that seemed to get steeper by the minute, plenty of laughs and an overwhelming sense of achievement as riders crossed the finish line.
More Than Fundraising
Goals Beyond Grass uses the power of football to create opportunities for people with learning disabilities to develop confidence, independence and lasting friendships.
Every pound raised will help the charity continue delivering inclusive coaching sessions, competitive opportunities and programmes that make a real difference to people’s lives.
Knowing the impact these funds will have made every climb, every mile and every early morning training ride worthwhile.
Community at Its Best
One of the most rewarding aspects of the challenge was seeing businesses, supporters and local communities come together behind a shared goal.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who donated, sponsored, volunteered, organised or simply stood by the roadside offering encouragement.
We’re also grateful to fellow supporters, including our customers Aramark and Abbey Business Interiors, whose backing helped make the event such a success.
Events like this remind us that when businesses work together for their communities, the impact extends far beyond the workplace.
Proud to Play Our Part
At Square One Network, we’re passionate about supporting the communities where we live and work.
Whether it’s helping local businesses stay connected, supporting charities or getting involved in community initiatives, we believe success is measured by more than business growth alone.
Being part of the Hartpury Charity Cycle Challenge perfectly reflected those values.
Thank You
To everyone who donated, sponsored, rode, volunteered or supported the challenge in any way – thank you.
Raising over £16,000 is an incredible achievement, but the real success will be seen in the opportunities those funds create for the people supported by Goals Beyond Grass in the months and years ahead.
We’re proud to have been part of the journey and look forward to supporting many more initiatives that make a positive difference across our community.
