Square One Network hosted its inaugural Invitational charity golf event at the Blackwell Golf Club in Bromsgrove, in support of the Hope for Tomorrow, cancer charity.
Thanks to the wonderful support of our sponsors and the amazing generosity of the participants on the day, we managed to raise a staggering £4,287 for the charity.
Despite the lack of sunshine, the day remained dry and we witnessed some amazing and sometimes challenging golf. Everybody enjoyed a light lunch before teeing off and a glass or two at the halfway house, to keep the chills at bay.
After playing, Kelly Caple from Hope for Tomorrow described some of the great work that the charity does in bringing cancer screen units to local communities, helping people that are less comfortable and less able to travel to a hospital facility.
This was followed by dinner and a prize draw for a range of prizes and experienced, donated by the likes of; Cleeve Hill Golf Club, Cookie Jar Golf, Gamma, Giacom, Gloucester Rugby Club, Penguin Uniforms, Rushmore Golf Club, SoConnect, Sounder, St Andrews Biscuits, Sugar and Yeti. Our thanks goes out to them all and again, to the generous contributions made by our guests throughout the day.
